Education Required to Sit for the State Exam
To get a real estate license in Florida, you must successfully complete a FREC approved 63-Hour Pre-Licensing Course.
This requires passing the end-of-course exam with at least a 70%.
Once you complete your course, you will receive a completion certificate valid for two (2) years from the date you passed your end-of-course exam.
You must pass the state exam before the end of this period. Otherwise, you will be required to complete the pre-licensing course again.
